Hello 👋 I wanted to do a post about my skin care regime as I have only just decided to have one 😂 …
I have had spots since the age of 12 and have never really had super clear skin, as I have just turned 29 I really wanted to try and find a skin care regime that helped banish big pores, tired eyes and was not expensive (as mama has got limited funds 😂🙈)
I saw a few posts on insta about The ordinary products they are around £5-£6 each and as soon as I tried them my skin cleared up and looks so much better it’s insane !
So the first product I bought was the caffeine solution 5% + EGCG, I bought this as I have a 3 year old that sleeps sparingly, have always suffered from dark circles and also have a scar under one eye from a cyst I had as a child (that gets worse to look at the more sleep deprived I am 😩). So this wakes up the eyes, stops any puffyness And has really helped with my scar being less obvious 👍 I put this on in the morning before my make up and in the evening before bed.
Secondly I was really suffering from big pores and spot breakouts so bought The ordinary niacinamide 10% + zinc, this stuff is the best (and seems to sell out quickly) for me it has reduced my pores, I see a lot less spots come up, have less redness and love the dewy glow it gives my face 👌. It’s the tits ! Love this product
When the Niacinamide 10% + zinc I had ran out I couldn’t get hold of anymore (until the other day yippee) so I bought this azelaic acid suspension 10% and holy moly I’m glad I founded it !, my skin has been spot free for two weeks now (even through my period) I use this once I the morning and once at night and This product has changed my face 💗 I have even bought a few extra bottles in case it sells out 😂 obsessed !
This is the newest product that I have bought from The ordinary the natrual moisturzing factor + HA. As I get spots I’m always worried about using a moisturiser but this is serum that just hydrated enough not leaving skin feel over loaded 👍
Something I’ve learnt so far since having a big girl skin routine is that wipes breakme out, miscelar water is just so good, I’ve tried all of them (whichever is on offer) and they all seem to do the trick, deeply clean off make up and day time grease while not causing skin to be irritated.
Lastly thought I would add two cheap but effective product I use on the regular, I love charcoal and think it’s great for teeth whitening normally I use a charcoal powder but recently have discovers the pearl purple tooth paste that has already made my teeth look less coffee stained .
